Georges Khoueiry: Building Lebanon’s Digital Resilience Through AI and Cybersecurity
Georges Khoueiry, President of the Lebanese Information and Technology Syndicate, is a leading voice in Lebanon’s digital transformation. With over 25 years of experience in computer engineering and IT leadership, Khoueiry has dedicated his career to empowering youth, enhancing digital literacy, and fortifying Lebanon’s cybersecurity capabilities.
His professional mission blends high-level strategy with on-the-ground impact—especially through education.
As a certified Cisco instructor and head of the Advanced Tech Academy, Khoueiry has mentored hundreds of students, preparing them for careers in network engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging tech.
His recent partnership with Education for Employment (EFE) Lebanon is a testament to his belief in hands-on, career-oriented learning.
At the AI in Lebanon Conference 2025, taking place from July 21 to 26 across five Lebanese cities, Georges Khoueiry brings a dual message: that Lebanon must not only adopt artificial intelligence but must also build the secure infrastructure needed to support it.
